When you surround yourself with women of faith, something shifts.

The reaction to life's hardest moments isn't to spiral into the drama of the moment. It's a steady hand on your shoulder. A reminder of who you are. A quiet but firm voice saying, "This is not the end of your story."

These women call you back to your higher purpose when you've lost sight of it. They pray when you're too exhausted to find the words. They speak truth when the noise gets loud.

And they remind you, over and over again, that you never walk alone.

Be discerning about who you let into your inner circle. Not everyone deserves a front-row seat to your life. The women closest to you will either anchor you or untether you.

Choose anchors.

I used to think being seen meant being loud. This community taught me otherwise.

Holding this spread in the new issue of Called to Lead | The Premier Women’s Leadership Community magazine is something I had to sit with for a moment. What Kelly Roach and Sandra Glandt have built here is rare. A room full of high-achieving women who are not competing with each other. Who show up with presence instead of performance. Who genuinely want to see you rise.

That is why I am so proud to sponsor this event and to call this community mine.

If you have ever walked into a room of accomplished women and still felt alone, Called to Lead was built for you.

Congratulations on the new issue. Grateful to be a part of something this beautiful. 🀍

Choosing a financial advisor can feel overwhelming.

There are countless credentials, fee structures, specialties, and opinions about what you "should" be looking for.

But the truth is that the right advisor isn't just someone with technical expertise. It's someone who understands your goals, communicates in a way that works for you, and helps you make confident decisions about your future.

Whether you're preparing for retirement, rebuilding after a major life transition, growing your wealth, or simply looking for trusted guidance, knowing the right questions to ask can help you find a financial partner who truly fits your needs.

In this article, I share what women in midlife should consider when choosing a financial advisor, including red flags to watch for and qualities that matter most.

Have you ever worked with a financial advisor? What was most important to you when choosing one?

"I'm going to borrow your bravery..."

One of our members said this to another during our weekly coffee chat this morning, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.

It's such a powerful reframe. We talk a lot about building courage, finding your confidence, doing the scary thing. But sometimes? You don't have to find it in yourself right away. You can borrow it from someone who has it while you're still growing yours.

That's what community is for.

That's The Empowered Sisterhood.

If you're ready to be surrounded by women who will loan you their bravery when you need it most, come join us. The link is in my bio.

Six months apart. Same movement. Different everything.

You might notice I look a little smaller in that second clip, and honestly, yes, the scale has moved. But what's caught me completely off guard is how much stronger I've gotten. The weights are heavier and I'm showing up in ways I didn't think were possible back then.

Grateful for Mo, Kelly, and every hard session in between. πŸ’ͺ

What if the thing you've been missing isn't more information...

What if it's support?

The truth is, most women don't need another financial podcast, book, or checklist.

They need a place to ask questions.
A place to learn.
A place to connect.
A place to be reminded they're not doing this alone.

That's exactly why we created The Empowered Sisterhood.

A community for women who want more confidence, more clarity, and more meaningful conversations about life, money, and what's next.

πŸ’™ Weekly Coffee + Clarity Chats
πŸ’™ Monthly Coaching & Masterclasses
πŸ’™ Practical financial resources
πŸ’™ Real women. Real support.

Because the journey feels a whole lot lighter when you have a sisterhood beside you.

Tell me in the comments: What's one area of life where you'd love a little more support right now?

For years, many women have been taught that if they just learned a little more, worked a little harder, or got a little more disciplined, they'd finally feel confident about money.

But confidence rarely comes from being lectured.

It comes from understanding.

It comes from having someone explain things in a way that makes sense.

It comes from taking one intentional step at a time.

That's why this review means so much to me:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"It feels less like being lectured about money and more like having a trusted mentor walk beside you."

When I wrote Intentional Money, I wanted to create a resource that felt approachable, encouraging, and practical. A guide that helps women build confidence without shame, judgment, or overwhelm.

If you've ever felt anxious, avoidant, or simply unsure where to start with your finances, I hope this book reminds you that you don't have to figure it all out alone.

What's one money topic you wish someone had explained more clearly when you were younger?

πŸ“– Intentional Money: The Modern Woman's Guide to Building Wealth, Purpose, and Peace is available on Amazon.

Have you ever worried that taking time away from work put your career permanently behind?

Whether you stepped away to raise children, care for a loved one, support a spouse's career, recover from burnout, or simply navigate life's transitions, that time wasn't wasted.

You gained experience. Perspective. Resilience. Problem-solving skills. Leadership.

The challenge isn't whether you have value to offer. It's learning how to communicate that value with confidence.

If you're thinking about returning to work after a career gap, this article shares practical strategies to rebuild confidence, refresh your skills, and take the next step toward a career that fits who you are today.

Midlife has a way of teaching us that permission doesn't come from someone else.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is give ourselves permission.

I'll start:

I finally gave myself permission to build a life that looks different than I imagined.

Your turn...

I finally gave myself permission to ____________.
