I would of never thought that this "idea" I had back in my living room in Camp Creek back in 2013 would have veared so far away from what it was when I created the website, was prepping the meals, and always looking for more clients. But in a good way.
It's not about me anymore and hasn't been these past 7 years. I'm working everyday to build something bigger than me. I don't want to just cook good food. I don't want to just have fun creating menus, or hop from restaurant to restaurant learning new cooking techniques.
I want to prefect systems, learn the very challenging side of building a (long lasting) business that I can pass down to my daughter/future children, their children, and so on. I've learned that this takes A LONG TIME, sometimes years but...it's worth it!
I want to be able take weeks off at a time and give my family undivided attention. I want to be financially free from worrying about how much PTO I have, or worry about taking off as much time as I want for the holidays.
It's all about breaking generational curses, building financial freedom, and building a legacy. It sounds so cliche now because society has over saturated the idea but I'm waking up every day one step closer to MY bigger picture.
