Attention TPS Applicants! 📢 The Secretary of Homeland Security can designate a country for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) due to conditions preventing nationals from safely returning. If you’re already in the U.S., you may be eligible for TPS, even without nationality if you last lived in a designated country. Temporary conditions include ongoing armed conflict, environmental disasters, or other extraordinary conditions. TPS beneficiaries:
Are not removable from the U.S.
Can obtain an Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
May be granted travel authorization
Cannot be detained by DHS based on immigration status.
Remember, TPS is temporary and does not lead to permanent resident status but allows for applying for other immigration benefits. Contact me for assistance (347) 889-9813
