Scale For ClimateTech reduces the risk, waste, and cost associated with getting a hardware product t

The For ClimateTech initiative helps founders fast track businesses and breakthrough technologies that reduce greenhouse gases emitted in New York, and further strengthen the state as a hub for climate-related solutions. This program offers access to resources, funding opportunities, mentors, and connections to manufacturers to develop more robust manufacturing processes and refine product design

so it’s ready to mass produce. The initiative is administered by impact innovation company SecondMuse and non-profit entrepreneurship catalyst NextCorps, which have worked together for years on industry-differentiated climate tech accelerators. NYSERDA is supporting the initiative and more than a dozen partners, including Urban Future Lab, Cornell University, REV: Ithaca Startup Works, NY Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and RIT Golisano Institute of Sustainability, will participate in For ClimateTech programming and offer founders a range of resources, technical expertise and guidance.

For ClimateTech is back for NYC Climate Week and offering an expanded TWO-DAY EVENT on Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24, hosted at Newlab. The 2025 Innovation Showcase brings together innovators, investors, industry leaders, hardware experts, manufacturers, and more to showcase the latest advancements in climate technology.

The event will feature over 35 companies with Day 1 focused on Venture For ClimateTech (V4C) Cohort 5 and Day 2 highlighting Scale For ClimateTech (S4C) Cohort 6.

Both days will feature inspiring pitches, expert-led panels, interactive demonstrations, and abundant networking opportunities to create meaningful connections across the climate innovation ecosystem.

❄️ Meet , another outstanding graduate from Scale For ClimateTech (S4C) Cohort 5!
This MIT and Yale spinoff has developed a smart solution to dangerous rooftop ice and snow buildup. Their groundbreaking system reduces operating costs by 40% and carbon emissions by 99% compared to traditional methods.
Here’s what they gained from S4C: “We gained some valuable insight into how we build our supply chain and relationships with partners and suppliers. The accountability board was a great sounding board to validate and test our roadmap.

It’s been an inspiring few days since the For ClimateTech Innovation Showcase wrapped up during Climate Week NYC () at in Brooklyn, and we’re still buzzing from the energy and excitement that filled the space! 🚀

Over the course of the event, we had the privilege of seeing groundbreaking innovations and hearing from the companies that are pushing boundaries in the fight for a sustainable future.
