Algoma - New York, NY - partners with real estate developers to automate the repeatable delivery of zero-carbon buildings.

- San Francisco, CA - unlocks energy equity by solving for accessibility, building a new category of smart, affordable energy storage to add millions of homes to the smart grid.

Enspi - Minneapolis, MN - empowers clean energy producers like solar and wind farms, energy storage facilities, and eco-conscious municipalities by facilitating participation in demand response programs and monetizing excess energy production.

HubOn - San Jose, CA - offers the cheapest and most eco-friendly transport for goods starting with delicate goods through non-monetary partnerships with retail shops serving as drop-off and pickup locations (”hubs”).

Upward - New York, NY - collects, stores, and analyzes building energy data to drive operational success.

Vy-Carb - Brooklyn, New York - developing a novel solution to autonomously measure the changes in CO2 and other inorganic carbon (HCO3 and CO3) in water.

- São Paulo, Brazil - helps companies to avoid CO2 emissions. Rewards employees with cash back and gift cards while choosing green transports such as bike, bus, electric and ethanol vehicles in daily commuting work-home.

- Mexico City - offers online courses to conscientize and specialize companies in the Latin-American region about topics within renewable energies/energy transition and sustainable practices.

- Alicante, Spain - cleans plastic from the oceans with traditional fishermen to recycle and transform the plastic waste, specially fishing nets, into public furniture, innovative products and raw materials for the industry.

Enspi is a trailblazer in the energy management space, providing a cutting-edge virtual power plant solution that leverages AI/ML for unprecedented performance.
The Cohort 13 team cater to utilities, system operators, and enterprise customers seeking advanced energy management capabilities.

The platform empowers clean energy producers like solar and wind farms, energy storage facilities, and eco-conscious municipalities by facilitating participation in demand-response programs and monetizing excess energy production.

Dwayne Caldwell is an Army veteran, who realized the potential of alternative energy sources while on deployment - it was there, as he relied on a solar pack charging station to power his DVD player, the potential of sustainable energy revealed itself to him. As he transitioned from the military to the world of business, Dwayne’s dedication to harnessing this potential only grew. From running a successful solar company to realizing that software was the key to addressing grid volatility.

Tichakunda Mangono is an AI/ML engineer with more than a decade of developing complex data-driven web applications for governments, nonprofits, and businesses across several sectors. Tich is passionate about building high-impact platforms for health, energy, and the environment.

A warm Cohort 13 welcome to HubOn! 🪴

HubOn offers the cheapest and most eco-friendly transport for goods starting with delicate goods (plants, baked goods, refrigerated food) through non-monetary partnerships with retail shops serving as drop-off and pickup locations (”hubs”).

Gent Dirga is serial entrepreneur and self-taught programmer. He got his engineering degree from Purdue and Stanford University with a specialization in Operation Research and Computer Science.

Liony Azali is a food scientist from UC Davis. She has done 100+ popup events and is very well-connected to many local makers, businesses, and non-profit organizations including 10+ plant societies and FB groups.

Arvind Ramgopal (based in SF) holds a BS from NYU (Computer Science) and has experience as a front end developer working for IBM, Lume and Palo Alto Networks.
