Brooklyn based structural steel company is seeking a full time bookkeeper. Applicant must be proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Excel. Construction experience, and specifically billing AIA (bank requisitions) a must. Must be a team player with great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and adjust to changing situations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Create billing requisitions (AIA) using Excel as required.
Process Accounts Payable and Receivable in Quickbooks.
Prepare invoices and maintain customer accounts.
Organize certificates of insurance from subcontractors and provide for clients, upon request.
Assist in matters relating to insurance (i.e. renewals, audits)
Provide administrative support and answer the phones.

Provide lien waivers for clients upon request.
Provide administrative support when needed and answer the phones.

This house will be built! No project too big, no project too small. We became private house pros with this one. Sometimes it is tough navigate the neighbor’s relationships, when a house is built in such a proximity to the next door neighbor, but we have successfully managed to do so and will wrap this one up in a day or two! Bring it on!
