Learn more about the world of color design on the Interwoven blog! In our latest Spotlight Interview we spoke with Interwoven’s founder and principal designer Rebeccah Pailes-Friedman. Rebeccah is a design consultant and educator with expertise in wearable technology, functional apparel, soft goods design, and color design. In addition to her work at Interwoven, Rebeccah is a professor of industrial design at Pratt Institute, recently launched her own handmade ceramics collection, and worked for over 20 years as a corporate Design Director for premium athletic brands, including Champion, Fila, and Nike. She is passionate about color and it shows in everything she does. We asked her about her color design process, the cultural context of color, and how to be an advocate for color. 💡🎨✨️⁠

The NYCxDESIGNxSOUVENIR exhibit opens today! 🏠️ 💥 Souvenirs have long been overlooked in the history of design. called on over 50 design professionals to create souvenirs that celebrate NYC. New technologies and materials make it possible for designers to create limited-edition objects that speak to the cultural atmosphere of our time, and our own Rebeccah Pailes-Friedman (.f ) will be one of the designers presenting original designs in the exhibit. ⁠
