Sending out love and thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday over the weekend.

I will respond to each of you shortly .

The reality is that the organization , I founded Equality for Flatbush : E4F lost yet another grant on 8/30 (my birthday) and I’ve been dealing with the strong likelihood that we will have to close down our work finding gentrification, displacement and police violence in Brooklyn.

So please spread the word and give today so that E4F can cover our own bills, make payroll, pay the rent of our elders , find trusted lawyers for homeowners fighting deed fraud, continue to organize tenant associations to fight their landlords and rapidly respond to community crises so that our people are not murdered by cops when they call 911.

Our slogan right now is to so we can

If you think the work of E4F is important & vital then please :
* GIVE TODAY
*SHARE THIS POST
*ASK YOUR FRIENDS & COMRADES TO GIVE TO E4F
* ASK PEOPLE WITH MONEY TO GIVE TO E4F
* HOST A FUNDRAISER FOR E4F
* TALK TO A FUNDER ABOUT E4F’s WORK
* VOLUNTEER WITH E4F SO WE CAN DO OUR WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY

Thank-you for your continued support

NYC Affirmative Psychotherapy is offering a new group: South Asian Mental Health Support, an 8-week group therapy focused on awareness and understanding of the specific and unique traits and difficulties experienced by members of the South Asian community and its associated diasporas. All are welcome, regardless of their sexuality, gender, religious affiliation, caste, tribe, or family name; we all experience difficulties in life, and here we may connect and cope together. The group will meet for 8 weeks every Thursday at 4PM from March 2nd to April 27th.

A flyer is attached to this email with more information and you can contact us via our groups page here:
