Ahhh… April. 🌸

The month of the heart.
Of returning softly — but with intention.

This is where we remember:
as within, so without.

The relationship you have with yourself
will echo into every room you enter,
every conversation you hold,
every person you choose.

This month, we design our relationships —
starting from the inside.

Welcome back.

Sunday is a gentle reminder that there is a higher order to life.
Not everything needs to be forced. Some things are meant to be listened for.

There is a rhythm to life that exists beyond our plans.
Call it faith, call it wisdom, call it a higher authority.

When we slow down long enough to hear it, we remember that life was never meant to be chaos.
It was meant to be designed with intention, beauty, and balance.

May Onyx and Milk always be a well for the weary,
a whisper to the curious,
and a sanctuary for the soul.

Black history is history.

For nearly 100 years, we have named it, studied it, and made space for it—
not because it began then,
but because it was too often left out before.

In 1926, the celebration was an act of preservation.
A reminder that Black stories, achievements, resistance, creativity, and brilliance
are not side notes or special topics.

They are the foundation.
They are the thread.
They are history itself.

Black history doesn’t live in a single month.
It lives in every system built, every culture shaped, every movement forward.

To study Black history is not to separate it—
it is to tell the truth.

Hello, February.

You arrive quickly, softly,
carrying a reminder of love.

Not the kind we perform once a year,
but the kind that quietly flows
through creativity, care, and how we choose to live.

This month, our intention is simple:
to let love move gently through everything we do.

In the quiet flow.

Hello, February.

You arrived quickly, softly,
carrying a reminder of love.

Not the kind we perform once a year,
but the kind that quietly flows
through creativity, care, and how we choose to live.

to let love move gently through everything we do.

Identity becomes a lifetime.

It happens quietly… through the foods we choose, the thoughts we repeat, the spaces we curate, the routines we protect, the relationships we nurture, and the standards we uphold.

I’m exploring this in a deeper way on Substack — not as self-help, but as self-design. Writing about what it really looks like to shape a life with intention, beauty, and balance.

If you’re craving a softer approach to wellness, self-worth, discipline, creativity, and elegant living — you’ll feel at home there.

Cloud Dancer may be the color of the year, but it didn’t move me in either direction. White has always been one of my brand colors — the intentional opposite of black and one of my two favorites.

Every January I return to white because it feels like a blank canvas. A place to create. A place to become. A space where possibility lives before it takes form.

So here I am — exploring color by first honoring the canvas, open to whatever shades life wants to paint through me.

I’m currently reading The Secret Lives of Color and underlined this line:
“White is seen as positive, or transcendent.”

That’s the energy I’m carrying into January:

On purpose, with purpose.
The Rooted Ethereal.

Side note: A stranger said, “I saw you and said now that’s a bold lady!” I loved it because I would have never described myself as bold.

This year begins on purpose with purpose.
Not rushed. Not pressured. Not performative.
Just rooted truth and steady steps toward what matters.
January’s theme: The Rooted Ethereal — grounded foundations, celestial direction.
