We are looking for a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Expert to design, manage, optimize, and secure our database systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring data reliability, performance, and scalability while supporting business-critical applications.

🔧 Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and configuration adjustments
- Monitor database health, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with best practices
- Support application teams with schema design, migrations, and SQL optimization
- Manage database replication, high availability, and failover solutions
- Automate routine database tasks using scripts and tools
- Document database architecture, standards, and procedures

🎯 Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA or Database Engineer
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, performance tuning, and optimization

- Experience with backup and recovery tools (pg_dump, pg_restore, WAL, PITR)
- Hands-on experience with replication and high-availability setups
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Proficiency in pgAdmin for database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS RDS/Aurora, GCP, Azure Database for PostgreSQL)
