Yesterday I decided to when I got a call to help with a local school supply give away and reached out to several colleagues and CBOs to no avail.
I simply ordered a case of book bags at a great wholesaler and had it shipped to the St. Johns Recreation Center on Troy Ave. In Crown Heights. The event is next Friday 8/23 so it may be too late for the free shipping from there but there are a lot of school supplies on sale at local retailers.
