The GYPA Philosophy of Business Management is different than any other philosophy, however the fundamental practices and beliefs are based on the same proven fundamental principles that have created some of the worlds most successful businesses. Regardless of whether you are an

executive, student, entrepreneur or housewife, our methods work! Your GYPA journey will produce progressive growth and success for both you and those around you. Where most managers fall short is when they simply drive forward on their success or failures instead of re-analyzing and defining the fundamental principles that made their success or failure to begin with. At GYPA we teach you to factually identify the positive and negative fundamental principles that created your results and how to re-apply them at greater depths. This creates greater results with less effort, while maintaining complete control over your destiny in the process. As with everything in life, management is based on core fundamentals. Each part is dependent upon one another in order to function as a whole. If there is a failure within the system, the other parts work together to compensate for and repair that failure. You need Communication, Organizational Structure, Management of Issues, Accountability, Training, Delegation and so on…These fundamentals must work cohesively together to address both actions and issues. The GYPA philosophy takes the methods and principles of business management that have been proven throughout history. It teaches you what they are, how to use them in combination and how to apply them perpetually to every person and thing. You learn when to apply them, where to apply them and who to apply them to. Best of all, once learned it becomes an interactive self sustaining management lifestyle that continues to grow while creating greater depths of results and success.

Both are equally important!

Don’t make it more complicated than it is. When you identify something, that’s generally what it is. Verify it, then take action. A=A

Debt Creates Debt! Do not use credit cards for personal reasons unless you can completely pay off the balance each and every month. Do not buy cars, boats, motorcycles, etc. unless you can pay cash. Remember that a dollar of debt basically costs 3 to 7 dollars to pay off depending on interest rate and agreement details , while a dollar of cash is worth a dollar!!!

How does one evaluate or become aware of low morale ? What are the signs ? I have had situation where people appear fine and content but other state they believe their is a morale problem. If it your one of you're employees and rumor has it it their staff have morale problems what do you do without undermining your employee that you think is doing a good job but it maybe their managers are not managing staff appropriately? Hmmmmm

Great questions! First let me say that if a manager is hearing undertones of low staff morale or that the staff feels like they're not being heard, the manager is not "close enough" to their staff. By this I mean that the manager is not hands-on enough with their staff knowing exactly what they're dealing with and going through. This often happens because the manager feels as if their people are competent enough not to need them and/or the manager is super busy and just expects them to do their job. However; A=A. There is a "3 Time Rule" in management: if you hear it once take notice. If you hear it twice start looking into. If you hear it 3 times it's already taken root and you'll have to trace "the fire" back to the true root cause and then manage. The second point I want to make here is "listening". If a manager doesn't hear about these things until they've already taken root, then the manager is not listening to their staff intently enough. Remember; a manager is responsible for the success of their people unless they can't or won't. So take time to listen to your people, even if you don't have time to do so. Make time, low morale and staff feeling like they don't have a voice can have devastating results! If you find yourself in this situation go digging, find out what you don't know and create a plan to fix. See "Day 3" entry in this group. Have an individual meeting with each person involved. Address what you've found and the things you plan on doing so as to hear the person better and help them become more successful. Everyone needs a manager (someone to mentor and guide them) whether they admit it or not. Humans are funny like that. They complain if you don't lead them, they complain if you do. So you might as well lead them to success!

Never Manage Through E-mails or Texts!

One of the absolute greatest mistakes made by people today is managing (communicating thought and actions) through emails, texts, social media, etc. By doing this we take away the human factor. Think about it; someone can be, say or do just about anything they want through emails, social media and texts, with there being virtually no accountability or consequences. Not to mention that what was written could be totally misconstrued by the individual reading it. For example; I could be joking by saying something rude, but the other individual is in a bad mood and doesn’t take it that way. See there’s no human factor. They can’t hear the way I said it or see my face expressions, nor I theirs. So they write something back rude and now I’m offended that they were rude to me when I was just joking. God forbid if it were something of great importance that we were communicating that got misconstrued. You can see how things can certainly get out of hand quickly. Now I understand how technology can help in many ways, the least of which is speed and efficiency, but at the cost of misunderstanding and clarity? Don’t manage someone through emails, text, etc., the cost could be much too great!

p.s.
It’s ok to send data or basic information, but talk in person or on the phone when communicating thoughts and actions. You’ll be glad you did!

The Issue You First See is Just the Results, Not the Cause!
Most people make the mistake of creating a plan and taking action to address the results (fire) of an issue, instead of finding the issue that caused the results (fire). This mistake is costly because it takes them further from the true issue, prolongs addressing the real problem and creates increased negative results.

The correct way to handle this is to go backwards, not forwards when you first find an issue (fire). Ask yourself objectively; “who, what, where, when and why?” Do a fact finding search until you find the true root cause of the negative results. Then create and implement a plan to eliminate it. Many times you’ll find that the same root cause will be creating numerous negative results (fires). You must discipline yourself daily to stop and breakdown the results, to find the true origin(s) of your issues, because it is not second nature to do so!
