Sometimes the most unexpected journeys lead us Home. 💛

I'm incredibly grateful to VoyageDenver for the opportunity to share a little of my heart, my journey, and the WHY behind Undercurrent! I also want to share a special thank you to those who invite me to journey alongside them on their own voyages, to every person who has been part of my journey along the way, and to all fellow Seekers and Sojourners for exemplifying how we, too, can bravely walk our own, unique paths (and must!).

In this “We Conspire” article, we trace the arc of St. Francis; he began life pursuing status but discovered his purpose in solidarity with the poor.

Francis of Assisi’s life reminds us that the search for power, success, or recognition can never satisfy the deepest longings of the heart. It was only when Francis encountered God’s overflowing love that his ambition gave way to compassion, and his life found a new direction.
