HSG is looking for three types of emerging players to consult:

The high school graduate academy player with a philosophy that acknowledges the difference between playing soccer professionally and earning an education for a future outside of pro soccer. This is the rarest of the three types

of players due to talent demands to be considered. These players have a professional mindset about their game and taking care of their bodies. This type of player may have college offers but has already concluded pro soccer is the right choice. The next type of talent is the one who has experienced the college game. This player has 1-3 years of collegiate experience but is looking for the next challenge. Generally these players usually have already learned all that can be gained in their collegiate program and have concluded that education is a second priority and is interfering with professional progression. The last type of player is the 22+ year old who is done with college. These players are usually left questioning where to apply their collegiate soccer expertise. The type of 22+ year old that has the potential is the one who is still hungry for competition and maintains the soccer skill set development as the highest priority. The player who has the mentality that graduating from a collegiate soccer program was simply the US soccer system put in place to filter players for a future in this domestic professional development (PDL USL MLS). These players used their college experience to become a professional in the game and are ready to apply that experience on a day to day basis. I find opportunities for these three types of players. I can also help professional players who are between contracts.
