I recently read an article from MIT Sloan Management Review about the value “elders” bring to organizations. I’ll admit, I may be a little biased these days—I now fall squarely into the category of “experienced” workers.
But in my work with organizations, the real challenge isn’t age or tenure. It’s whether people—at every stage of their careers—are willing to collaborate, share ideas, and hold themselves accountable to one another.
And that almost always comes down to leadership.
