The Power of Local Business

Every time a local business chooses to work with another local business, something bigger happens than just a transaction.

When we need proposals printed, we call another family owned business...Boss Printing in Broomfield.

When we need shirts for our technicians, we walk right across the street from our office to Burbank Embroidery.

When we needed someone to help manage our team's 401(k), we partnered with Millennial Wealth Management.

Not because they were the cheapest.
Not because they were the biggest.

Because they're part of our community.

Small businesses are the backbone of our towns. They sponsor our little league teams. They donate to the local fundraisers. They create jobs. They freaking show up.

And when we CHOOSE to support each other, those dollars don't just disappear into a corporate machine. They stay right here. They help another family. Another employee. Another business owner chasing the same dream we are.

I know one business can't support every local business.

There's an IT gap that's impacting a lot of businesses right now.

We're hearing the same two frustrations over and over:

📞 "Our IT provider has gotten so big we feel like just another ticket."

OR

👨‍💻 "Our IT person has been great, but they're slowing down, retiring, or struggling to keep up with everything that's changed."

Neither situation is ideal.

Businesses today need more than someone who can reset passwords and fix printers. They need cybersecurity, compliance support, cloud expertise, vendor management, strategic planning, and responsive support when issues arise.

At the same time, they don't want to be just another account number.

The sweet spot is finding an IT partner that's large enough to deliver the expertise and resources you need, but small enough to still know your business, answer the phone, and genuinely care about your success.

Business owners? They are trying to figure out how to grow, hire, and make payroll.

That's it.

The best technology decisions I've seen weren't based on specs.

Somewhere along the way, we realized we naturally gravitated toward working with women-owned CPA and law firms.

And honestly? We think it’s because there’s a different kind of conversation happening in those businesses.

The women leaders we work with are often balancing a hundred things at once; clients, employees, growth, family, responsibility, pressure, and the constant expectation to hold it all together while making it look easy.

They care deeply about the people they serve.
They expect excellence.
They ask smart questions.

AND they don’t have time for fluff, ego, or IT providers who disappear when things get hard.

We respect that.

We also love that these firms are built on relationships and trust. Technology isn’t just technology to them. It impacts confidential conversations, client experience, compliance, productivity, reputation… and ultimately the growth of the business itself.

That matters to us.

Over the years, some of our favorite client relationships have come from women who were simply tired of being talked down to, oversold, ignored, or made to feel like they were too much for expecting accountability.

You’re not too much.

You just expect people to do what they said they would do.

Same.

We think that’s why these partnerships work so well. We both care deeply about doing things right, protecting what we’ve built, and creating businesses that are strong, sustainable, and respected.

Truthfully, we just really enjoy working with smart women who are building incredible things.

A lot of IT companies *say* they support Macs.

What they really mean is…
“Please don’t open a ticket.” 😅

We see it all the time:

🚩 File sharing issues between Mac & PC users
🚩 Random printer chaos
🚩 Microsoft 365 sync problems
🚩 Security tools that barely work on Macs
🚩 Employees using workarounds because nobody understands their setup
🚩 Creative teams constantly frustrated by “Windows-first” support

Mac users in business shouldn’t feel like the problem child of the network.

When Macs are supported correctly, teams move faster, onboarding is smoother, leadership has fewer headaches, and IT stops becoming a daily interruption.

That’s the difference between “we can probably support Macs” and actually specializing in them.

We ❤️ Macs.
But we love productive businesses even more.
