Swisslog Healthcare recently hosted the Broomfield Career Explorers, a group of high school students (8th to 11th graders) examining their career interests and pursuing connections with local employers through the City and County of Broomfield Workforce Center program.

We hope that the Career Explorers had a valuable experience touring our Technology Center which houses the manufacturing and distribution of our pneumatic tube systems, as well as the lab where our designers and engineers work to innovate future concepts, and at their final stop at our Automation Academy for demos of our automation, software, and analytics solutions for hospitals, health systems, and long-term care facilities.

Thankful for the healthcare contributions of many African Americans, today we recognize Dr. Charles Drew who revolutionized the blood banking process and standardized procedures for long-term blood preservation which led to the establishment of the American Red Cross National Blood Donor Service.
