Joining BNI is one of the best things you could do for your business. When you join, you create limitless growth opportunities. So here’s how to make the most of it:

1. Network! Network! Network!

Attend your chapter meetings early. Chat with your fellow members, make connections, and network with any visitors.

2. Make the Most of Your Commercial.

In each meeting, every member gets to share a short commercial about their business, what they offer, and the people they are looking to connect with. Make the most of your commercial and make it the best it can be! If you communicate your business to chapter members well, they will be able to communicate your business to possible referrals.

3. Do 1-2-1 With Your Fellow Chapter Members.

Get to know your fellow chapter members by meeting 1-2-1 outside of meeting times. This is your time to get to know your chapter members, build trust, and learn how you could help each other.

4. Complete Your CEU's.

Learning doesn’t stop at school. Lifelong learning is a value-successful business owners have. BNI has a great learning platform called BNI Business Builder where you can learn about different things and take your business to the next level. Take advantage!

5. Refer as Much as Possible.

Referrals are how BNI members can truly help each other. Be mindful of the types of contacts your fellow members are looking for and if an opportunity arises to refer someone, take it! The more you give, the more you get back.
