I was at my dentist last week and they had this old mug that I had given the previous doctor that worked there. I used to wash his Porsche every Wednesday for years. I gave him this mug back in the late 90s and he left it at the office when he retired. I’m sure he was super depressed when he realized that he left his best mug behind, lol.

It was meant to be.

The girls brought it out when I was at my appointment and asked me if I wanted it. It’s hard to put into words what I felt when they handed it to me. I clinched it with both hands as tight as I could in fear of dropping it. It’s crazy the value this mug has to me. You know those things in life, when you see them they run a movie in your mind of incredible memories and a journey you’ve been on…

I’m constantly reminded that life is about the journey not the destination.
Remember that.
Remember that when you’re tempted to fixate on a current problem or situation. Look how far you’ve come.
Look what’s changed in your life for the better.
The opposition you face will always present opportunities.
You can get bitter or better.
