Please join us in welcoming Andrew HeavyRunner, LCPC, ACLC, NCC, to Southern Piegan Health Center's Behavioral Health team. Andrew is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe and Kainai Nation whose work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care that honors both evidence-based practices and Indigenous values.

Andrew looks forward to serving our communities by helping individuals build resilience, strengthen relationships, and achieve their personal wellness goals. He believes that "every person has strengths they can draw upon to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives" and is honored to walk alongside individuals and families on their journey toward wellness and recovery.

Good morning relatives, we regret to inform you that for the third time, the vending machine outside of the SPHC clinic has been vandalized. Unfortunately, those responsible appear to be children.

This is disappointing because the machine exists to provide free health and safety supplies to community members. We may have no choice but to move the machine to another location, reducing access for those who rely on it.

We are asking the community to help keep an eye on the area and encourage our youth to respect resources that are here to help people. One person’s actions can affect access for everyone.

It has been reported that there is a batch of Fentanyl that is very strong within our community. Four doses of intranasal naloxone and the injectable dose had to be used to reverse an overdose. Please be careful and watch out for one another. Blackfeet Opiod Project has intranasal naloxone and also the injectable naloxone. Please feel free to come and ask for Harm Reduction Supplies without judgement or shame. Our Blackfeet people's lives matter, no matter who they are or what lifestyle they are living.

Seeking donations of Men's pants, socks, underwear and shirts. The boys are coming in and utilizing the facility to maintain their own personal hygiene and to look good.
