Today’s Tribulation

Christianity is a full time job and tribulation, trials, and difficulties are a sign that you’re probably doing your job well. The more dutiful we are, the more tribulation we will have.

Fret not.

The point I’d like to make is that if our troubles are many they are not a heavy burden (or at least they should not be), because JESUS SAID this burden will be light.

If however the burden is heavier than it should be, it’s indicative of a problem - and that’s a GOOD thing. It’s good because God is showing us that we’re probably operating in our flesh (and not the Holy Spirit), or perhaps we have "left our first love" (Rev. 2:4).

In other words, your ‘heavy burden’ is a corrective sign from your Creator!

Ask Him to identify that which needs to be corrected, trust Him to respond, and submit to whatever it is. 😎
