36 approaches. These are just screen and coated. On year 3 of coating since sanded. We work down old the approach finish so they look almost sanded each year. If years are skipped between screen and coats it is hard to keep approaches looking fresh like they are sanded. We take out the trap doors so they do not get glued in with the approach finish. They get coated separately. Then we buff approaches so there is no break in, can slide right away.

This was amazing, a bowling center removed the racks for us to sand under them! Such a nice center to do that! We have to belt sand under them with the rack on. Only centers with over lane ball returns generally take them off so we can run our sanding equipment across the approaches. In last picture I don't get a close up picture all the time, but can see we always make sure feathering is sanded out or patched out with boards.

Finished up replacing over 50 broken boards over 18 approaches. Sanding them to bare wood and coating them with a coat of approach finish. We also sand under the ball returns, as odd as it sounds to me a few contractors do not do that for some reason.
