Good Morning Tax Family!!! All my entrepreneurs, come sit down real quick please!

🛑 Please Please Please pay estimated taxes. Save yourself from fees, fines and penalties

🛑 You want to own a house? Looking to buy a new car? Guess what that means, we cannot make it look like you only made 10k for the year 🙅🏽‍♀️. Not going to cut it!!

🛑 Learn about what you can and cannot write off! There are hundreds of deductions out there which is why you need a tax professional.

🛑 Too lazy to book keep every month?! Hire someone to do it for you (I can do it!) or open a business checking account that has accounting features. It will save you time!!!

If you had coverage through the Market Place insurance DO NOT FILE🙅🏾‍♀️ without without form 1095 A.

Most tax softwares will tag your tax return or reject it because the IRS has already been notified of this coverage and expects it to be reported. Bypassing this or entering inaccurate information will delay your tax refund and your tax return will need to be amended.

If by chance you don’t receive form 1095 A, please contact your provider ASAP!!

‼️🔥 TRUCKDRIVERS

NEW/VETERAN truck drivers and truckpreneurs, owners, and Lease owner operators, make sure that you understand what you can and cannot write off.

Work with tax preparers who understand filing taxes as a truck driver. This is not the same as basic tax preparation.

TIPS:
👉🏾Keep good records of the actual expenses that is spent to perform your routes including all trucking expenses(I.e., washouts, lumper fees, maintenance bills) mileage logs, tools, tolls, fuel, oils, insurance, details, etc. anything related to your truck, keep a receipt.

👉🏾Due to the complication of a trucker tax return, tax prep usually start around $600 and can increase if you don’t have good records.
