1. Plastic bags are total party crashers recyclers don't want.
2. Plastic bags damage recycling equipment.

If you are bringing latex paint to the collection tomorrow, it must be in a liquid state to be recycled. Do NOT attempt to dry it out first.

To the person who left a box of batteries on my work porch: Thank you for getting them out of your home and not putting them in the trash. As you can see in the picture, three of the four lithium batteries are in a very fragile state. They have started to swell and were close to explosion and ignition. Please, please, please, take any swollen lithium batteries out of your home immediately. Tape the contact points or put them in individual plastic bags. The Seymour Department of Public Works can then handle them safely. Their address is 865 "F" Ave East, Seymour in Freeman Field.
