On the special anniversary of an unforgettable film, our founder Sheryl Davis, recalls its significant influence in her journey to becoming a music landmarks specialist! πŸ—ΊπŸ‘£ Amadeus introduced her to Mozart and to places that were central to his life she would later get to experience in person. Directly witnessing the powerful confluence of music history, architecture and historic preservation set the path to her future and establishing the American Music Landmarks Project!

Amadeus was released in US movie theaters 40 years ago today! 🎟🍿🎹 It was filmed in Prague including in the Old Town Square where this photo was taken during my first trip there with my twin sister Sherry Davis, the Modern-Day Mozartian! βœ¨πŸ’ƒπŸŽΌπŸŽ» We walked in Mozart’s footsteps πŸ‘£ through three of Europe’s music capitals, Vienna, Salzburg and Prague, and that experience was very influential in lighting my path πŸ”¦ to becoming a music landmarks specialist! 🏠🎢
