Here in West Tn we are under an excessive heat warning today and tomorrow. Please be sure to take breaks and drink plenty of fluids while out in this heat. Make sure to bring animals in if possible and if not make sure to provide them with shade and plenty of water.

🌡6 Extreme Heat A/C Tips🌡

During time of extreme heat, home and business owners tend to crank up the A/C, often leading to overloads and power outages. It can also lead to your individual system not lasting as long and needing a/c repairs.

There are a few steps that can be taken to prevent this from happening, keep the utility bills down, and stay cool.

☀️Spray your outdoor A/C unit with a garden hose to cool it down and keep it running more efficiently.
☀️Have your A/C inspected and maintenanced each year to keep it clean and be sure everything is running properly.
☀️Raise your thermostat to 75 degrees when leaving home. If you forget, we offer WiFi thermostats to do so from your smartphone!
☀️Lower your thermostat at night to cool the whole house while the weather is cooler outside so it does not have to work as hard at night.
☀️Try not to cook in the oven and stove, use your outdoor grill if you have one to prevent extra heat inside your home.
☀️Have an older A/C that is just not keeping up with the heat? Ask us about new energy efficient installations!

Our trailer with all our equipment in it was stolen sometime Sunday afternoon from a house we have been working on on Johnson Grove Rd. In Crockett Country. We had a ball lock on it but obviously that was useless. If u have seen it or know any info please call me 731-432-0602 or Chris 731-432-0099 or Crockett County Sheriff's Office.
