October is National Fire Prevention Month, and this week is National Fire Safety Week. Now is a great time to test your home's smoke detectors, check your fire extinguishers, and review your escape plan for the various rooms in your home.

Today, Firefighter/EMT Kendra Intermill had the opportunity to teach her kids' class important fire safety skills and demonstrate the equipment that keeps our firefighters protected. Thank you Kendra for all that you do and for helping these kids stay safe!

A huge THANK YOU to Clites Electric Construction and Vantek Communications for helping us relocate our emergency communications radio repeater onto our own 85 ft pole. Without this repeater, communicating with dispatch would be nearly impossible in many locations in our service area.
