A couple of weeks into summer and if you’re already hearing “I’m bored,” you’re not alone. ☀️
One of the easiest ways to encourage independent play and creativity is to make activities easy to see, easy to reach, and easy to put away.
A few simple tips:
✨Keep games grouped together and stored where kids can access them independently.
✨Create a dedicated art cart stocked with markers, crayons, paper, scissors, and glue.
✨Use clear containers so everyone can quickly find what they need.
✨Label shelves and bins to make cleanup simple.
✨Rotate activities every few weeks to keep things feeling fresh without buying anything new.
A little organization goes a long way toward creating a summer that feels less chaotic and a lot more fun for everyone. 🌿
