8:40 It’s Saturday morning!
Steve’s docs said he could be released yesterday. However, by 7:30 pm last night, he was still in the OR Recovery area. He has to have a walker and oxygen before he can leave. I had already reserved a hotel so decided to go check in and get some rest.
Sometime during the night/early morning, he was moved to room 3233. I’m here with him and have been told he will be released soon. We shall see. We will not be driving over 4 hours to Brunswick yet. He has an appointment on Monday with ENT to have packing removed from his nose. We agree that the long drive today and long drive back on Monday may be a lite rough. I reserved the hotel for four nights. Checking out on Tuesday.

We are so thankful to everyone reaching out to us on this long journey. The calls, texts, messages and the Prayers have touched us dearly. Please keep them coming. We love you all!!

So here we go again...as many of you know I had surgery back in 2014 to repair a cerebro-spinal fluid leak from my nose. I had a rough time with that surgery but I came through none the worse for wear! After the brain infection, follow-up surgery and a month in the hospital, I was ready to get back to work. Well fast forward to 2020 and the leak has returned. Not as bad as the first time but a leak just the same. This time the doctors are going to put a shunt in my brain to relieve excess pressure in my head which is the root cause of the CSF leaks. Hopefully I will come through with little to no issues but as with any surgery there are always risks. Please add me to your prayer lists and send me good thoughts. I am supposed to have the surgery on the 28th of June, but we are waiting to get confirmation about the financial side. I have insurance but it won't pay for this type of surgery. So we will see what happens! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes, looking forward to seeing you on the other side!(Of surgery or the after-life, whichever one God has planned for me). Keep the Faith!

More scammer stuff!
I received an email today from Bank of America, the subject was simply, Locked. Well I personally do not bank with BOA and never will but I figure I would have a look at the email just to see what's up(knowing all along it was a phishing email, trying to get me to give up valuable personal information). So I open it and this is what I see(first pic)...so I point to the link and it is showing some weird address nowhere near related to BOA, but I am adventurous so I continue down their primrose path and click the link(second pic)…If you notice the address at the top says https://wibuhhbawang.org/signOnV2Screen.go, nothing even remotely related to BOA. Now I went over to the actual login page for BOA(third pic)…First thing you see right off the bat is the address bar is vastly different,https://secure.bankofamerica.com/login/sign-in/signOnV2Screen.go, this is the way EVERY legitimate company, bank, website et al. will look. Also notice the website is identical to the legitimate BOA website only the address is different. It will have their actual name in the address bar, usually with the word SECURE but don't let that fool you because scammers will use EVERY trick in their arsenal to get you to input your valuable information! Do not be drawn into this web of deceit and lies! Be ever vigilant, if you suspect something then DO NOT PROCEED! Contact someone you can trust, your parents, your children, your spouse or your neighborhood friendly computer geek(like myself :) ) I cannot stress this enough NEVER EVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE ON THE CORRECT WEBSITE OR ARE TALKING TO A LEGITIMATE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY! Please guard your information, always! Feel free to contact me anytime day or night with any questions, I am here to help! Thank you for your attention! Happy Surfing!

Like so many of you I get calls from these scammers claiming to work for Microsoft et al. I usually like to just keep them on the phone and waste their time so they aren't scamming someone else. So I had a call today and while I am on the phone with the one scammer another called! So I connected them together! Pretty funny! They hung up too soon but it was fun while it lasted! People I cannot stress this enough NEVER ALLOW ANYONE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER unless you are positive to whom you are speaking! The wolf is ALWAYS at the door and these people will stop at nothing to steal your hard earned money! I am always at your disposal day or night so do not hesitate to call me with any questions. And don't feel ashamed if something has already happened...more than likely we can work together to recover any monies lost due to the ever present fraudsters! Be safe out there!

Well here we go again...although this is not a new scam it is new to me. I received a call from "Windows Technical support" telling me I was to receive a refund in the amount of $299.00 from a fraudulent technical support company, iYogi, which I have known they were bogus all along. I have never spent any money with iYogi but this guy (Indian) says I am due a refund. So I bait him along just to see how it plays out. He asks me to write down my "unique" license ID and he will show me how to verify that number. The number is 888DCA608F0F-11CF, which is "unique" to each computer and I should never share this number with anyone lest they could compromise my computer. Then he asks me pull up a WIndows CMD prompt and has me type "assoc" and press enter. Which brings up a list of file associations...and a "unique" "Consumer License ID" which is a CLSID registry key and is on EVERY computer running Windows and the same CLSID number will be displayed. Once we verify the CLSID is the correct number, he then transfers me to his supervisor so we can process the refund. Once this guy(another Indian) comes on the line he starts going through his spiel about how I should NEVER share this "unique" ID with anyone, blah, blah, blah. So he asks what is up on my screen and I tell him I have Internet Explorer open with information about the CLSID scams and then I say which is what you are doing right now. SO he says ok well is going to have to lock down my pc. I said DO IT! Lets see how good you are! Well then he hung up, dammit! I tried to call back but the number was fake as well! People I CANNOT stress this enough, NEVER BELIEVE ANYONE THAT CALLS YOU UNTIL YOU PERSONALLY VERIFY THE VERACITY OF THE CALLER. 99 out of 100 of these calls are bogus, fake and fraudulent! Please be aware and always vigilant! They are out there everywhere! And they are trying to steal your money! Please contact me or someone that can help keep you safe out there before you go handing out any information to these scammers! 912-399-5409 Thank you for your time!
