Confidence isn't something you wait to feel. It's something you build. One uncomfortable choice at a time.

Caitlin G. is a social worker in my network who's spent her career showing up for people in hard moments knows this better than most.

Her advice is to step out of your comfort zone regularly in small, thoughtful ways:
→ Speak up in the meeting you'd normally sit quietly through
→ Apply for the role that feels slightly out of reach
→ Have the conversation you've been avoiding
→ Ask for what you actually want

Growth doesn't usually show up as one big leap. It shows up as a string of small stretches — the ones you choose on purpose, even when it would be easier not to.
