Three Goulds outta Mexico and two Easterns later! I wish I could have recorded the time and amounts of feathers laid. What I do know is that it took me weeks, 3 days alone in washing and drying feathers, roughly 4 days to sort and clip feathers, it took 9 bottles of silicone, 3 full sheets of plywood and near 90 foot of beautiful White oak to get these done!

Picked up some pretty pieces of wood today for those turkey frames! And I’ve also got some pricing on pecky cypress for anyone looking for that style frame. All frames are hand built by myself!

Summer is always rough between work and keeping up with my kids. Happy to report that the kids are settled back in school and I’ve done a lot of catching up. My current numbers as of today. I’m coming close to the end of last seasons intakes. My turnaround time is for any new intakes and as always is my best guess and not a certainty but I do work hard to get those trophies back out to you. I’m going to try getting back to posting as well! Thank you everyone for trusting me with your birds!

For the next 2.5 weeks I will be out of the office. If I have already scheduled with you, this does not apply and I will still meet with you. I won’t be available otherwise so I can attend a funeral and then spend the last week of summer with my kids before school starts! Thank you for understanding.

Thank you to for bringing me this amazing idea for an awesome display. The story behind this deer is incredible and one that is relatable to many hunters alike. Mr. Rentz son took his first shot on this fine buck but hit him a little too high. He wasn’t able to harvest him but the following year when Mr. Buck returned with a battle scar, he got his chance and reclaimed his buck. An incredible reminder about the resilience that hunters and the hunted both embody. What an awesome trophy to have!! Thank you again for trusting me with such a special project.

Few things drying in the shop. I want to wish everyone a great memorial weekend! We are celebrating two birthdays and honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. God bless and do not call me until Tuesday! Much love 😂
