Termites can cause serious damage before most homeowners even realize they’re there. Catching the signs early can save you thousands.
If you notice any of these signs, we’re currently offering FREE termite inspections to help you catch issues early.
Here are 5 signs of termites to look out for:
• Mud tubes
Subterranean termites build small, pencil-width tubes along foundations, walls, and floors to stay protected while they travel.
• Discarded wings
After swarming, termites shed their wings. If you notice small piles around windows, doors, or entry points, it could be a sign.
• Wood damage
Termites eat wood from the inside out, often leaving it hollow. Tap on wood surfaces, if it sounds empty, that’s a red flag.
• Frass (termite droppings)
Drywood termites leave behind small, pellet-like droppings near the areas they’re infesting.
• Bubbling or peeling paint
Moisture buildup inside walls from termite activity can cause paint to bubble, crack, or peel.
If you’re noticing any of these signs, it’s best to get ahead of it early.
