In addition to working with over 35 Texas Ag and Commercial Banks, David & Tom have auctioned assets for the FDIC, Fannie & Freddie, Wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America, The Farm Credit System, City of Houston, City of Atlanta, GA, Ford Motor Credit, GM Finance, and thousands of dealers, charities, wholesalers, and private sellers. For many years as contract auctioneers David & Tom worked more than 250 auctions per year selling tens of thousands of homes, vehicles, and equipment each year. Ultimately, the results of the auction are based on the condition of the asset and the confidence of the buyer in the process and the auctioneer. Coleman & Patterson was founded in 2007 by owners David Coleman & Tom Patterson and became and affiliate with United Country Real Estate in 2011. We have conducted more than a hundred property auctions each of the past couple years and will do so again this year. David and Tom are both graduates of Texas A&M University and were introduced by a mutual Aggie, friend, and auctioneer in 2002. Prior to forming Coleman & Patterson, David and Tom travelled the United States as contract auctioneers selling mainly Real Estate, Equipment, and Vehicles. In recent years, both David and Tom completed the distinguished three-year CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) from Indiana University. The CAI is the equivalent of a Master Degree for Auctioneers and is held by less than 5% of all auctioneers.
