This month we are honored to host the Marcela Barton with the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP).
Marcela Barton, Project Specialist for the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) will speak on how this State of Texas-funded program can be of assistance to small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs located across the state. SATOP aims to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs with the goal of creating new jobs, new products for the market, capital investment, and facility expansion.
For inventors who require solutions such as material recommendations, assembly / production processes, structural analysis, and much more, SATOP offers up to 40 FREE hours of technical assistance from our volunteer engineers. This is made possible through our Alliance Partners that consist of the NASA Johnson Space Center, aerospace companies, and educational institutions.
For inventors who require extensive technical assistance, SATOP's partnership with multiple Texas based Universities, can submit viable projects for small businesses into an Engineering Capstone Design Program to receive design solutions and academic prototypes, at no cost to the small business.
Your invention or product, regardless of which program applies to you, does not have to be high tech or space related in order to receive FREE technical assistance. SATOP stands ready to empower small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs throughout Texas by providing invaluable FREE technical assistance. For more information, explore our Success Story page on our website for a comprehensive showcase of the positive impact we have had on small businesses and their ventures.
