This Friday, we are spotlighting our very own Britnie Halfmann, Executive Account Manager at MarWay Business Services!
Britnie was born and raised in Bryan, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is also CPC certified. She has been married to her husband, Shane, since July of 2007, and together they have three children who keep them busy with all of their activities and sports.
As one of the daughters of MarWay’s owners, MarWay has always been a special part of Britnie’s life. From stuffing envelopes and helping with simple tasks as a child to working part-time after school, Britnie has grown alongside the company for many years before joining the team full time in 2008.
One of Britnie’s favorite things about working at MarWay is the fast-paced environment and the satisfaction that comes with solving challenging claims and helping providers get paid. She also loves the teamwork and relationships she has built with the staff at each office she works with.
Outside of work, Britnie spends most weekends cheering on her kids at volleyball courts, softball fields, and golf courses — and she says she would not want it any other way. Watching her children play the sports they love brings her so much joy, and her favorite place to be is relaxing on the beach with her family. 🌴
Fun fact — Britnie proudly calls herself the “laundry queen” of the house, but she says she is spoiled when it comes to cooking because her husband, Shane, loves to cook and is really good at it! If he is traveling for work, it is usually takeout or frozen pizza nights at their house. 🍕
