As I am finishing up the last of my historic leather orders, I wanted to introduce the new direction of Saye Leatherwork.

I am returning to the basics, as I will offer modern items on an in stock only basis as I make them I will offer them to you.

First up is;

“The Belt”

Crafted from 12/14 oz English bridle leather, hot-stuffed with waxes and oils for incredible strength, weather resistance, and that slow-aging patina only true working leather can earn. This is top-grade, heirloom-quality hide.

Hardware is solid brass, in antique brass or satin nickel finish.

Every belt is hand-sewn with waxed linen using a traditional saddle stitch, a method trusted for centuries because it simply will not quit. Stronger than any machine stitch, and meant to survive decades of hard use.

1.5” wide belt.

$100 shipped (Free shipping to CONUS; international buyers, message for rates.)

Backed by a lifetime warranty—honored fully, unless the belt shows outright abuse. Treat it right, and it will outlast you.

These belts will be released in small, limited-run batches and sold on an in-stock only basis. Each one is crafted from the same premium 12/14 oz English bridle leather and offered in select shades of brown as well as classic black. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

Working on the remaining orders I have. Here are some of my recent projects that were finished up.

Currently Finishing up final orders.

My real job and growing family has left me with little time to continue doing the historical stuff, it takes a lot of time to do it right.

Thank you for all the support.

In the future I will make one item and make it well, but it will be modern and an essential item.

Okay, I am offering a run of painted cloth accoutrements.

These are underrepresented in the hobby especially if you do AOT. Will be a limited amount of sets available.

Set will consist of the following; painted cart box with tins, painted sling with leather ends, painted belt with leather billet and roller buckle, painted cap pouch and a scabbard with painted frog and wooden tip. Set would run $485 shipped.

The target delivery date will be after first of the year.

If I offered a run of painted accoutrements would anyone be interested? Set will consist of the following; painted cart box with tins, painted sling with leather ends, painted belt with leather billet and roller buckle, painted cap pouch and a scabbard with painted frog and wooden tip. Set would run $485 shipped.

If I have enough interest I will open a run. My cloth is almost ready to cut.
