A burn ban is in effect for Franklin County through September 15, 2026. With conditions being so dry, please use extra caution. Ci******es thrown from vehicles, dragging trailer chains, mowing, and equipment sparks can all start a fire quickly and threaten lives and property.

Please be careful. One spark is all it takes to start a brush fire.
