Central Coast RBS is locally owned and operated by a retired police officer with over 23 years of local law enforcement experience. We offer personalized California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) "Best Practices" Level I, II and III Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training in person. We will come to you any day of the week and at any time of the day to meet the specific needs of y
our business, your managers, your employees and your ABC license. The goals of RBS training are to prevent the costly fines and license suspensions/revocation as a result of unlawful sales/service to minors and sales/service to overly intoxicated patrons as well as to increase public safety and reduce "quality of life" neighborhood nuisance issues attributed to the sale, service and consumption of alcohol. We accomplish this through interactive small group training or industry specific large group training that is custom tailored for your business and ABC license. We take this responsibility seriously and provide you and your employees the best training possible. Your employees will complete our RBS training sessions with the skills, tools, knowledge and confidence to identify underage or overly intoxicated customers and professionally refuse them service. Supervisors/Managers will leave the training session with an understanding of the importance of the role alcohol service policy implementation and incident documentation plays in protecting the ABC license. Our RBS training will result in an increase in detection of fake ID's and a decrease in overly intoxicated customers leaving your business. ABC "Best Practices" Responsible Beverage Service training of employees and managers prior to a violation has proven to be an important mitigating factor during the ABC Administrative Review of the business and its license. WHY SHOULD YOU INVEST IN RBS TRAINING FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES? ABC issues millions of dollars in enforcement grants to law enforcement agencies statewide each and every year including hundreds of thousands to Tri-County law enforcement agencies. These grants fund operations, including undercover stings with minors, which target licensees to ensure all laws are being followed and ABC license conditions are being met. RBS training using ABC Best Practices will equip your team members with the knowledge and skills necessary to abide by all laws and license requirements, thereby avoiding costly fines and suspensions.
