𝙒𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚’𝙨? If you’re struggling with your brand identity you should save this post. 😊⁣

When starting my business I struggled with creating branding that both reflected me and was aesthetically pleasing to my target audience. All the other SMM and brand managers who started their journey when I did seemed to have white backgrounds with similar cursive fonts and lots of flowers or other super feminine designs (there is nothing wrong with that, i’s just not me). ⁣
I, however, am slightly more feisty than that. I wanted big rushing waves, bolder colors, skulls and I wanted to sound like myself and say things like jazzy and rad. ⁣
I did not see immediate success with my page and I began to doubt my brand and started to question If I should adopt these elements and succumb to using Canva templates as is and saying hey babe like everyone one else.⁣
𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯...⁣
✨𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨. ⁣
Why would I want to present myself in a way that isn’t authentic to me? Clients choose to work with me because I am different, I am edgy and I don’t think like everyone else. ⁣

𝙈𝙮 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨? I am not telling you to ignore trends or popular themes in your niche. What I am telling you to do is to not be afraid to be different and authentic to you because you will attract clients that don’t have the same vibe or beliefs as you do otherwise. people are lacking experiences and human interaction right now more than ever. So why not take this time as an opportunity to connect with your audience? Be the light in their gloomy day or a kind voice for them to hear. You are probably saying ya, ya but how? Make sure you are engaging on a personal level with your online audience. Realize that money is much tighter for most people these days so it's so special that they chose your product to spend their money on, a handwritten note or a call or even a DM saying "hey thank you so much for choosing us" goes so far. Be extra patient and kind with your customers even if it's difficult. Most importantly, remember that social media is the closest thing some people have to human interaction right now so try to make your posts speak to your audience as you would. ⁣
