This video is example of a conductor just going on to the ground not properly fitted into a defined exit so the water is percentage wise 40% going into the storm 40% going all over the ground the other percent is probably evaporating through the ground and away from the house but the part that's going against the foundation is going right into the basement hopefully into some drain tile and into your sump pump or what's going all over the basement floor when it builds up enough.

Finding out information about your storm lines which means the gutters up top the downspouts on the side of the house and the conductors at the ground well below the conductor is now your storm sewer system in Buffalo and Niagara falls the two main cities it's a combination so that goes into the sanitary toilet line almost everywhere else it should go to an exit or another storm sewer could be a road ditch could be a pond could be a storm sewer provided by the town or municipality or a low-lining area you need to make sure you have a defined exit for your storm sewee.

Climbing the stairs of life it looks so simple all you do is walk up the stairs you can reach the top in real life that's just not how it goes.
And real life there could be good stairs there can be stairs with grease on them there could be stairs with baby oil there could be stairs that are not even there you fall in the hole and have to climb back up and then just skip that hole the next time.
Just remember keep climbing the stairs of life never stop.

When you locate underground sewers with a camera you need to make sure you are correct and verify readings. You do not want the dig crew digging 8 ft. Down and not finding the sewer.

Ice dams and freezing gutters, downspouts and conductor lines. Then need to be flowing for heat tape to work. Huge ice problems can damage siding gutters and the roofing system. Please test the with a garden hose before winter. Save thousands of dollars in damage.

There's not many codes on bypass valves but truly understanding how they work how you can set them up takes a specific skill especially not to cause cross-contamination with filtered and unfiltered water or chlorinated and non chlorinated water especially if people have pools that they are feeling off the potable water side.
I did some research in the codes have recommendations but nothing clear and precise so if you are getting into an install of a very expensive water filtration system or other systems that need a bypass valve please go to the manufactured website and see what their recommendations are because they do the product testing more than any government and they will help you figure out the best way to use their products
