Taking time to talk safety. 🗣️🦺

Our Royalton-Hartland School District (Roy-Hart CSD) team recently took a brief pause from the ongoing $34 million capital improvement project to bring BCC and our trade partners together for a safety standdown focused on learning, teamwork, and a little friendly toolbox trivia.

Safety standdowns have become an important part of BCC’s on-site culture, providing an opportunity to reinforce safe work practices while also recognizing the hard work of our teams and partners. That recognition is especially meaningful on our summer K-12 education projects, where crews are working on tight schedules to complete critical work before students and faculty return for a new school year.

A special shoutout to Project Engineer Gerard Singleton, who successfully hosted his first safety standdown alongside Project Manager Joe Mannarino Jr. and Project Superintendent James Goldwater. Thank you as well to Safety Manager Bob Overhoff ("Safety Bob") and Lawley Insurance representative Megan Ryan for joining the group, supporting the event, and conducting the site safety walk.

Thank you to the Herd and our project partners for continuing to make safety a top priority across every sector, every jobsite, every day. 🦬

A new perspective on a Buffalo icon. 🏛️

The BCC Project Engineer team recently toured the Buffalo Central Terminal for their first look at the progress underway during phase two of the restoration and capital improvement efforts.

From navigating existing conditions and ongoing structural work to seeing the unique challenges that come with restoring a nearly century-old structure, the site visit provided an opportunity to expand technical knowledge, ask questions, and learn directly from the team bringing the project to life.

A special thank you to our Terminal team, Marcus DeLeys + Neil Ball, for coordinating and leading the tour, sharing their expertise, and giving a behind-the-scenes view at the work shaping this next chapter.

We’re proud to support the preservation, restoration, and long-term reuse of the Buffalo Central Terminal, and grateful to the entire project team and our partners for their continued collaboration. 🦬

Project Update | Elevate Shea’s 🎭

Earlier today, project partners and stakeholders gathered onsite to recognize the progress underway as this transformative expansion continues to take shape.

We are proud to be building alongside an incredible team as Shea's Performing Arts Center continues investing in greater access, accessibility, and an enhanced performing arts experience for audiences, artists, and the Buffalo community.

Thank you, Carmina Wood Design! And big thank you to the BCC project team: Elliott Jerge, Adam Galucki, + Arnie Cubins!

Farewell, 2026 summer interns! 👋👷👷‍♀️

With back-to-school season right around the corner, we’re saying goodbye to the talented, energetic group who spent the summer learning and growing alongside the BCC Herd.

From working with our preconstruction team in the office to gaining hands-on experience in the field, our interns were able to see firsthand the collaboration, coordination, and effort that bring a project to life.

Each year, BCC gives one intern the opportunity to lead our end-of-summer intern tour, and this year, intern and UB Civil Engineering student Ryan Corcoran rose to the occasion at the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Agrusa Hall job site. Ryan came prepared with project renderings and a site plan before walking the group through the scope of work, key project details, and construction progress to date.

Joined by members of the BCC project team, Brendan Saylor, Lynda Summers, Joe Levandoski, Tyler Conhiser-Uy, + Ashlyn Parsell, and HR Manager Jaclyn Atkinson, the interns wrapped up their summer experience with an inside look at one of BCC’s active projects.

Thank you to our interns; Ryan, Ian Jarosz, Ian Aigner, Ava Sklener, Mark Maglietto, Aidan Litwiniak, + Gianni Vona, for bringing your curiosity, enthusiasm, and hard work to BCC this summer. We’ve enjoyed having you as part of the Herd and can’t wait to see where you roam next.

Best of luck this school year! And remember, it’s not goodbye… it’s "BCC you later!" 🧡🦬

For 75 years, Moog Inc. has been a cornerstone of Western New York’s manufacturing community with an impact that reaches around the world. 🌎

Congratulations to the Moog team on the opening of its new Advanced Integrated Manufacturing facility and on celebrating 75 years innovation, growth, and continued investment across the Greater WNY Region.

Here’s to the next 75! 7️⃣5️⃣✨

Today, Moog celebrated the opening of its new Advanced Integrated Manufacturing facility while marking the company's 75th anniversary. Employees, community partners, elected officials, and members of the Moog family gathered for a presentation, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and facility tour of the new 150,000-square-foot manufacturing center.

“Today's celebration is about more than opening a building,” said Pat Roche, Moog’s President & CEO. “It reflects our confidence in Western New York, our employees, and the future of advanced manufacturing.”

As part of the milestone celebration, Moog announced 75 STEM scholarships in honor of its founding year, recognized multi-generational employee families whose connections to the company span decades, and reflected on Moog's enduring commitment to innovation, opportunity, and community.

We're happy to report that for the first time in decades, the Passenger Concourse's Waiting Room is now clear of debris! Mark Cerrone Inc.'s construction crews carefully and meticulously cleared the finishes, mechanical elements, and debris from the Waiting Room and the attached restrooms and women’s lounge. Every space emptied and cleaned is one step closer to our living landmark reopening as a reimagined, ready-for-use economic hub and gathering place for the community.
