September 1 has a little bit of January 1 energy for business owners.

Suddenly there are 37 things we’re determined to accomplish before December 31. 😆

What’s ONE thing you really want the remainder of the year to be about?

The enrollment bonuses close at midnight tonight.

If you've been watching this all week and haven't acted on it, "Not Now" is a fine answer. Twelve weeks can be a tough commitment and there are times where it's not possible to give fully to what the program or your business needs. You know better than anyone.

But if you've been meaning to and just haven't gotten around to it, that's more or less the exact thing REV is for. 🙂

$1,499, or three payments of $525. The two bonuses are gone at midnight.

Summertime is killing my marketing.

That's what I might have told you a few weeks ago. Here's what was going on those last three months. Illinois for my parents' Celebration of Life. Fourth of July with the entire Whitesell clan. Montreal and Quebec City for my husband's work with an amazing vacation attached. Regular trips to our lake home five hours away, which I do my best to protect as a place where work stays minimal. So much fun with friends and family visiting (who knew we had so many horseracing fans in our lives!). I loved every bit of it. Sadly, one of our dogs died unexpectedly.

My working week dropped to twenty or twenty-five hours. Clients come first, always, so the time left was somewhat small.

My revenue stayed consistent anyway.

I'd love to tell you that's because I'm so disciplined, but it's really simpler. I know which three marketing activities actually drive my business. Time for them holds a place on my calendar, and I review my numbers every week. The frequency of some of these activities dropped on occasion but the consistency never did. When something needed adjusting I adjusted it and kept going.

That's the whole thing. It isn't complicated.

Now look at your next four months. September plus Q4, the holidays, and whatever your version of Illinois and the lake house turns out to be. I would almost guarantee something is coming for your time between now and December. If your marketing only works during a normal or light week, it's not likely to survive consistently through the end of the year.

If you want to finish this year in the strongest position possible and get to the holidays without that knot about January, that's what REV and the next twelve weeks are for. We figure out your most impactful, revenue producing activities, build them into a week you can manage, and check in every week so a harder or busier stretch doesn't eliminate them.

Two things go away Monday night.

The first is a private coaching session after your twelve weeks are finished so you continue to be supported after the program ends.

The second is a seat at the Profitability Planning Intensive on September 30. That's a full day of Q4 profit planning and it's a $249 value on its own.

Enroll by Monday, August 31 and both are yours. After that REV is still open at $1,499 or three payments of $525 as long as available seats remain.

Before REV I ran a similar group version of this program, the Streamlined Revenue Accelerator. Four cohorts of it, twelve weeks each, $2,500. Twenty-five people came through, and over half of them ran it more than once.

Here's just a sampling of what came out of it.

Three of the twenty-five beat their entire previous year's revenue in a single quarter.

Fifty-six percent enrolled again in a later cohort. They had already paid once and chose to do it a second, and for some a third time due to its impact.

One participant reached 154 percent of her financial goal, and she did it after taking a full month off work in the middle of the program.

Those stats came from the group version, not from REV, because REV is brand new. What I am carrying over is the structure that produced them: twelve focused weeks, weekly guidance and accountability, and a solid repeatable plan to walk away with.

What's different in REV is that it's one to one. No group calls to keep up with and the twelve weeks is built entirely around YOUR business.

Enrollment bonuses end Monday.

Thirty days will build you a habit. Ninety days is what makes it stick.

That's why REV runs twelve weeks instead of four.

Four weeks is enough to feel good about yourself and that’s great! But the week that really decides whether the habit holds is the one where a client emergency happens, a big proposal runs long, a family member (or you) gets sick and the marketing block becomes the hour you use to catch up. That week is coming for all of us and what happens to it is the critical point.

Twelve weeks means you get several of those weeks with an experienced coach in your back pocket paying attention and helping you stay on track. That's where the habit actually gets made.

Ten 1:1 spots available. Kickoffs start in September. Enrollment bonuses end Monday.

"Her processes make it very simple. Then the accountability piece really pulls it all together. By the time you work through her process, you find what works and then you stick with that."

Karen Sharp Price, Certified Professional Career Coach, SharpHR Career Coaching

You find what works and then you stick with that. That's the whole program in nine words and Karen said it better than I ever have.

Ten spots. Enrollment bonuses end Monday. Are we doing this together?

Some of you have noticed I've been posting like crazy lately.

Here's what that's about. I've been thinking for a long time about doing consistent online content - particularly using video - and I have never once managed to stick with it. So this summer I decided to stop wondering and give it a true committed test. Ninety days, starting with a 30-day challenge. (Duolingo, You’ve inspired me!) I'm in about Day 45 now and I've already learned so much.

Now here's what I find so interesting -

Last week I got three excellent leads. One came from my weekly networking group (this fabulous group you see here). One was a referral from a current client. One was a past client coming back around.

Not one of them came from anywhere online.

When I realized this, I got a bit uncomfortable - particularly, since here I am currently selling a coaching program on Facebook and LinkedIn. My clients don't normally come from Facebook or LinkedIn. (Except for very strange time where online was the only place to be in 2020-2021) They come from conversations. They come from people who already know me and from my showing up in professional gatherings.

That doesn't make the test a waste. I'm running it the full ninety days because you never truly know what works until you give it a substantial and consistent run. To me, that’s always meant 3 months.

What this also means is that the test doesn't get to touch the activities that actually feed my business - networking, 1:1 conversations, and maintaining contact with the people I already know. Those stay on my calendar every single week whatever else is going on.

Over the years I've had people tell me the only way to grow is Instagram. Or two to three videos a day. Or that LinkedIn is the only platform that makes sense for someone who serves professional service owners. Not one of those people ever asked me where my years of clients had actually come from.

You already have better information about your business than any expert on the internet and it's sitting in your last ten clients.

So: what are YOUR most impactful two or three biz dev activities and are you doing them every week?

Let me introduce you to my accountability partners.

Adam DuVander is in Portland. He runs EveryDeveloper, a content strategy firm for companies that sell to software developers. He's an accomplished author, speaker, and the creator of a groundbreaking LLM Reach Assessment tool. Alex Theis is in San Diego. He's a speaker and consultant who focuses on client retention and sales growth, with four books and about 1,200 inspiring and informative podcast episodes behind him.

Neither one does anything close to what I do. Neither one lives within 2,500 miles of me. We've been accountability partners for years.

Our primary focus is a weekly check-in. What we said we'd do, what we actually did, what got in the way, what we learned and what's next. Every couple of years the three of us get together in person for a deep dive planning weekend, and those weekends have shaped many of the important decisions in my business.

These two are exceptional at this. Encouraging every single time and also blunt enough that they don't let me get away with anything. When I've spent three weeks talking about something without doing it, one of them kindly points this out. They've both built solid businesses, which means when they push on something, they're usually right, so I listen.

I'm a certified coach with an MBA and two profitable businesses behind me. I know exactly what I should be doing in my own business in any given week. I still probably wouldn't do it as consistently on my own - and I don't consider that a personal failing.

🌟The things we do reliably are usually the things somebody is expecting from us.🌟

Ten 1:1 spots available in REV. We start in September.
