The new version of the lager Hummel is impressive at best. I have 2 old ones and these appear more aggressive when needed and smooth as butter when ran with the drum pressure lowered. This floor in particular will need dark stain to conceal permanent discoloration.

Oak mix sanded to 100 grit and coating with premium oilbase polyurethane. 1of 3 coats applied.

We finally completed this job yesterday , 4 days behind schedule due to using waybase on 3/8" thick flooring that was rather thin, dry time was much longer than anticipated. Thankfully the homeowners were understandable very kind about the delay. Not all jobs go as planned and this is a perfect example. I was apprehensive about using waterbase and did it anyway. Still learning lessons 20 years in. When working with 3/8 t@g that is thin waterbase can cause numerous issues.
