4/12/26 at approximately 10:30pm Buffalo Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the area of the 3400 block of Mount Tabor road. Units arrived on scene and found what appeared to be a single wide trailer and a garage fully involved. The fire was extinguished and under control in a short amount of time. Agencies assisting were Larue County Fire Department, Magnolia Fire Department, and Larue county EMS.

KY 61 is blocked near Ferrill Hill Road (Milepoint 4.05 Between Mt. Sherman and Buffalo) due to a commercial truck incident.

Use an alternate route via KY 470 and KY 584 for the next few hours.

From all of us here at the fire department we want to thank everyone that came out tonight for the Fish Fry! We were overwhelmed with amount of support from our community. This is the first time we’ve had a fish fry since the early 2,000’s so there was a lot of guessing and estimating on what to do, how much food to have and how many people to expect. We certainly did not expect the turnout that we had and we are more than grateful for that. We completely sold out of everything we had to offer. This was a huge learning experience for all of us and now we know what to expect next year and we can guarantee a much better experience for the next fish fry. With that being said we also want to give a huge thanks to Matt Childress for donating his time to cook for us tonight. Again we thank you for everyone’s support tonight and we will see you all next year!
