Q1 All Hands: Reflect, Reset, Create 🎨

Last week, the Global Wave Integration team came together for our Q1 All Hands meeting. It was a day dedicated to reflection, alignment, and intention as we looked back on the past quarter and set goals, both individually and as a team, for what’s ahead.

We spent time celebrating wins, acknowledging challenges, and getting clear on how we want to show up in the next quarter. These moments of pause and perspective are essential as we continue building thoughtful, human-centered experiences through our work.

To close out the day, we did what we do best when we’re not integrating technology, we created. As “shoe surgeons” at The Shoe Surgeon in Downtown LA, our team got hands-on designing custom Air Force 1s, expressing creativity, individuality, and collaboration in a completely different medium.

It was a reminder that innovation starts with people, trust, and shared experiences. We’re heading into this next quarter energized, aligned, and ready to keep building together. ❤️⚡

Community, Compassion, and Connection in Chicago!

Last week, Global Wave Integration President Kyle Steele joined the Azione Unlimited community in snowy Chicago for a conference that reminded us what truly makes this industry special. Its people.

The week was filled with meaningful moments and connections, including a memorable team dinner hosted by Sonance at Ocean Prime, where conversations and collaboration reflected the heart of our industry.

One of the most moving moments came during a charity event hosted by Ron Angner, President of Play Custom Home Technology, who shared the heartbreaking story of his daughter’s tragic death due to stalking. In her honor, attendees participated in a silent auction and Build-A-Bear activity, each bear symbolizing care, remembrance, and hope.

The energy in the room was emotional, but it was also deeply inspiring. The Azione community came together — integrators, manufacturers, and partners alike — to support one another and raise awareness for an important cause.

Events like this serve as a reminder that our work is ultimately about people, supporting one another and creating spaces that foster safety, connection, and well-being. ❤️

🌟 Last week, Global Wave Integration had the honor of joining the IWBI x Lutron Changemakers Roundtable at the Lutron Experience Center in Los Angeles. It was a gathering of visionary designers, technologists, wellness experts, and thought leaders focused on shaping the future of how we live.

The evening’s theme, Timeless Homes, explored an important question: How does time shape the way we experience space? What followed was a beautifully choreographed journey through "morning," "afternoon," and "evening," with each dinner course paired with Lutron’s Circadian lighting technology. The environment evolved around us, demonstrating the emotional and biological power of light to influence our state of mind and wellbeing.

At Global Wave Integration, we are deeply invested in the connection between technology and wellness.
