Did you know? Lladro was formed in 1953 by three brothers Juan, José, and Vicente in the village of Almássera near Valencia, Spain. What began as creating functional ceramics turned into some of the most famous artistic porcelain figurines to be made.

The brothers had their own distinctive style of a single-firing technique which creates their signature soft pastel-toned style. By 1969 they were so popular they founded the “City of Porcelain” which is now the only factory for Lladro items.
