How to make sure you hire hairstylists that align with your culture.

You worked hard to build up your salon business and you want it to be a place that stylists can come to grow, thrive and cultivate community over competition.

Here are a few things to look at when you are ready to build your team.

✨ When advertising the availability in your salon, be very clear about the culture, values and expectations

✨ Take the time to have a quick phone interview before bringing them in to the salon. This allows you to get a sense of their vibe and if they will be a good fit

✨ Have them come into the salon for a few hours. Watch them interact with the other stylists, feel out their vibe. You will know right away if they will add vs detract from your culture

Put in the work during the hiring process and you are sure to create an amazing team filled with hairstylists that align with your core values and culture.
