Burlington E583 Worked with North Dakota Forest Service in New Town and Turtle Mountains this weekend. Extreme fire conditions make it hard to stop these fires. Reminder to check the local burn ban before burning.

Burlington Rural Fire is staffing a truck to be ready for fires with North Dakota Task Force. Reminder it is extremely dry be cautious and be aware of your local area fire index.

Tomorrow we will lay one of our own to rest. Paul was an active firefighter for the Burlington Rural Fire Department for over 20 years and then became a very active Board member for the fire department for over 20 years up until he passed away. He always did his research and was great to work with. He will be missed. We will take it from here. The Burlington Rural Firefighters.
