The Great Turning Team has migrated east to a wonderful corner of coastal Maine in the Penobscot Bay! We are grateful for the Wabanaki people who have tended, lived, and worked on this land for thousands of year and are humbled by the opportunity to live in right relationship with this patch of Earth. We are dreaming big and working hard to start hosting gap year students and seasonal programs starting in summer 2023. Happy Earth Justice Day! Our planet is 4.6 billion years old and life on Earth has persisted for almost 4 billion years. Our species (Homo sapiens) have been on this Earth for a mere 200,000 years, and we have been living in an industrial society for only about 200 years. We have much to learn from the elegant living organisms that have evolved on Earth over millions and billions of years.
