Rain in Alaska, rough seas, and rinsing down the deck after a whole mess of fish gets put in the hold. All three are constantly fighting to get water past a seal and into the bilge. These supports are meant to increase the lifespan of those seals. If we can always look for one thing better each and every build, to make a difference in the quality of experience for our owners and longevity of their dream boat.

The Lindell 48' facing towards the site of the tallest tsunami in recorded history. You wouldn't know it by these beautiful flat glacial waters, but a closer look at the landslide scars and the difference in tree growth along the mountain side keeps the record.

Only someone who has never heard of Alaska would not be aware of its reputation for getting socked in with fog, clouds, and gray. It's nearly omnipresent cloud cover is often a palette of soft grays, greens, and blues, with summer or a bitter winter day being reserved for the bright yellow sun breaking apart the veil of potential rain hanging above. But black and white photography reveals that even in a place where some fog is always looking for a place to settle down, there's contrast. A magnificent contrast that is so much of what our spirit finds beautiful, like a thunderstorm rolling across the plains or a beam of "angel light" spotlighting across the water. One of the most rewarding aspects of building our fishing yachts, beyond tight lines and delicious fresh fish, is the travel to beauty that is done aboard them.

Some massive Bluefin Tuna being caught in Southern California recently. Good luck to our Lindell owners, and to all the fisherman down there, in getting your own fish of a lifetime before the autumn air cools the bite. Hope everyone's getting out fishing and enjoying the beauty that is September on the water.
